On Saturday March 3rd at around 1:06 AM, homeowners in Duncan Village, who asked not to be named, heard strange noises outside their home and when they looked at their security camera monitors, they saw two suspects hiding in the bushes. According to the homeowners, the lurkers had earlier been seen roaming the area.
The homeowners had bmobile home security service with Rapid Response however, not wanting to alert the intruders, they called the bmobile Home Alarm Monitoring centre and the Operator there knew just what to do.
Within a few minutes, a team of well-trained professional security officers were on the scene at the Duncan Village home and officers from the La Romaine Police Station joined them. All of the officers searched the premises and were able to apprehend one of the suspects, later identified as Keon Jordan AKA “Fat Face”, a 30-year-old, Labourer of #15, Hillside Avenue, Mon Repos, San Fernando.
Jordan appeared before Magistrate Alicia Chankar of the San Fernando Magistrate’s Court to answer to the charge of Loitering. He pleaded guilty and was fined $1,000.00 and put on a bond to keep the peace for one year. Jordan also has to answer to for four (4) unrelated offences of Larceny and Wounding.
The homeowners were extremely grateful for the response from bmobile and the Police and the outcome at the court. The bmobile home security service more than lived up to its reputation. By keeping a level head, the homeowners were able to use the service to gain an advantage over the prowlers and the police and security officers capitalized on this. In the end, the homeowners could attest to the tremendous peace of mind they have, knowing that they can rely on the expert support of bmobile home security service anytime of the day or night.
