Digicel Group is delighted to announce the return of Garvin Medera, now as Chief Executive Officer for the Atlantic Region, a significant milestone in Digicel’s ongoing transformation and a reaffirmation of our commitment to exceptional leadership and service.

A respected Caribbean leader, Garvin began his career at Digicel in its early years, contributing to the development of the company’s pioneering telecom and fibre networks across the region. His return reflects Digicel’s focus on strengthening regional expertise and advancing a future built on service, reliability, and real connection.

n his most recent role as CEO of Caribbean Airlines, Garvin led a complex transformation that delivered operational profitability, digital modernization, and a renewed customer focus. His leadership balanced performance with purpose, a philosophy that aligns seamlessly with Digicel’s ambition to elevate customer experience across every market we serve.

Garvin’s time as Chairman of the Digicel Foundation in Trinidad & Tobago helped shape his commitment to meaningful community connection. In this role, he supported initiatives focused on education, inclusion, and opportunity, reinforcing his belief that connection should reach people not only through technology, but through service.

“Garvin’s return to Digicel is both a professional reunion and a powerful signal of our future. He understands our mission at its core, connecting communities through service, trust, and reliability,” said Marcelo Cataldo, Group CEO of Digicel.  “As Digicel continues to transform, his blend of regional insight and global leadership will help us accelerate our next chapter with clarity and ambition.”

“At Digicel, our transformation is driven by leaders who combine regional depth with world-class execution. Garvin reflects that balance,” said Terry Arnold, Chief People Officer,  “Having started his career with us, he now returns with a wealth of experience to strengthen teams, elevate performance, and build the next generation of leadership across the Atlantic region.”

“Returning to Digicel feels both meaningful and motivating,” Medera said. “This is where I first learned the true weight of connecting people, not just through technology, but through service. I look forward to working with this exceptional team to shape the next era of connectivity for our customers and communities.”
