Digicel sells stake in Myanmar’s Red Dot

Digicel Group sold its stake in Myanmar-based cash acceptance network, Red Dot, it was announced today. Digicel has sold the totality of its stake in the company to Red Dot founder, John Nagle. The terms of the agreement are confidential.

Launched in December 2014, Red Dot offers a range of cash payment acceptance services to people across Myanmar. Employing 345 staff, services include mobile top-up, bill payment, voucher payments and an advanced coupon, rewards and customer management platform to people across Myanmar.
