bmobile hosts two day technology conference – begins today

bmobile hosts its Connect @ bmobile Technology Conference and Exposition at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad on January 17th and January 18th. 

This first-of-its-kind conference and exposition in Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean region, will differ from other technology conferences, as the design and format would allow industry stakeholders to actively participate and exchange ideas with leading global technology companies to facilitate the growth of ICT, Managed Services and Data Centre Services.

bmobile will also unveil its new innovative products and services which provide unprecedented insight into how the use of enterprise level technology can take businesses to the next level of success.  The inaugural conference and exposition is expected to be well attended by Government Ministers and senior-level officials, as well as senior-level representatives from the private sector and supplier companies.

AT&T’s Learie Hercules will speak on Big Data.

Connect @ bmobile will commence at 6pm on January 17th with the theme Big Data and Innovations in Technology followed by a cocktail reception.  Senior Technical Director, Product Innovation and Big Data Expert from AT&T, Learie Hercules, will help attendees discover how to use Advanced Analytics like any Fortune 500 company to grow their business globally. 

Lead Enterprise Architect at Nielsen, Trevor Mason, will discuss international best practices, cloud computing and its applications to business operations, and Dr. Colin Parris, Vice President of Software Research at the GE Global Research Center will provide insight into their approach to analytics, software and software research.

Connect @ bmobile continues on January 18th from 9.30am to 5pm with the theme ‘Knowledge and Innovations in Technology’ and provides first-time access to innovative workshops by experts from leading technology companies. 

The day two presenters will bring awareness of real world and first-to-market applications that have empowered their businesses and catapulted them ahead in their respective fields. 

They include: Google’s Enrique A. Camacho C., who is also Founding Partner and Executive Director of eSource Capital Technologies Inc.; Huawei’s Solution Expert, John Cupit; Stephanie Ford, MITTEL’s Regional Sales Director for Southeastern US and Caribbean; Phillip McDaniel, MITTEL’s Director, Sales Engineering; Waldir Montoya, VmWare’s Network Architect; and Anthony Hackett, AMITEIS’ Region Manager USA and Trinidad.

The pioneering conference and exhibition will end with an exciting extra from bmobile when they launch the new Huawei Mate 9 at 6pm on Wednesday 18th January, 2017 in collaboration with Huawei Technologies Trinidad and Tobago Ltd.
