The Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago announced on May 05, 2022 that Kurleigh Prescod had been appointed Executive Officer, Technology and Engineering.

Mr Prescod is not the first member of his family to serve at TATT, his brother Kwesi Prescod having worked with the authority previously in a senior role.

In May 2021 Kurleigh Prescod transitioned from the role of Country Manager for Flow Trinidad and Tobago to become VP of the South Caribbean region, including Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

As recently as March, 2022, Mr Prescod was speaking on behalf of Cable and Wireless,

According to TATT’s announcement, issued as a graphic image on its website, Mr Prescod will now “lead the Authority’s Technology and Engineering Division with responsibility [for] spectrum planning, broadcasting, monitoring, licensing, networks, numbering and standards.”
