1 Mins read

This week, Grenada’s Minister of Trade Oliver Joseph announced that the country would participate, along with Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago, in the WiPay project, Project 1000.

“We are partnering with WiPay to give participants a free website portal to do their business,” Joseph said.

Joseph and Minister with responsibility for ICT Keith Mitchell have endorsed the project, according to WiPay’s Aldwyn Wayne.

WiPay is seeking to set a Guinness World Record for the most websites created in an hour on their platform. The event takes place at 10:30am, Jamaica time on May 16, 2021.

Participants in Trinidad and Tobago and Grenada will not  count toward the total tallied by Guinness, but will benefit from the first free month on the service offered by WiPay on the event day.
