There are local schools that aspire to continuous improvement and others that struggle to make it through a working day without bloodshed.
I do not believe that I would have gotten the school of my choice, far less a book grant placing, if I sat the Secondary Entrance Assessment in March 2023.

School ended for me with sixth form. I was tired of the whole experience and was keen to do and to learn, not study to an increasingly irrelevant curriculum.
