TTEC refutes claim of repeated outage

Members of the public are advised that a statement suggesting another five hour outage and attribued to the General Manager of T&TEC, Mr Kelvin Ramsook, is false. Mr Ramsook has issued no statement about the Commission’s ability to adequately supply electricity to customers.

All of T&TEC’s Independent Power Producers are providing the necessary capacity to the grid and we are well positioned to serve the normal demands going into the peak evening period.
