Digital news outlet, Loop Trinidad was the premier media partner during the annual American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) T&T membership appreciation reception in early December at the multi-purpose event space, HOME.
The event sought not only to recognize the contribution of some 300 influencers registered to the business organization, but also to promote 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence – a global campaign spearheaded by the United Nations.
Presenting at the event was Eileen Ruddy, Regional Sales Director at Trend Media Group, the Caribbean-based digital agency and publishers of Loop News.
“We are able to promote AMCHAM T&T and its members with targeted digital campaigns, while leveraging our dynamic news product, Loop to meet their business objectives. Tonight we also support this anti-violence campaign. Our activity will reach thousands of Trinidadians and the Diaspora to help raise awareness for such a worthy cause.”
The campaign encourages both organizations and individuals to ‘orange the world’ using the bright hue as a worldwide flag in drawing awareness of the anti-violence movement.
Throughout the evening, guests were encouraged to share orange-themed content to their personal social accounts, effectively joining the global campaign led by Trend Media’s and Loop News’ social channels.
“This exciting collaboration will give both the AMCHAM organisation and our membership greater exposure through the Loop content distribution channels, thereby affording us the opportunity to communicate with a wider audience and our members the chance to connect with a larger customer base. We will also be working together to disseminate information on digital marketing and non-traditional media in 2016 as we seek to facilitate members’ access to information which they need to get value for their spend,” said Nirad Tewarie, AMCHAM T&T CEO.
