Ahead of the Girls Power Tech event, all participants will engage in an interactive, exciting workshop on August 14, 2020. This workshop will aptly prepare and coach these young women in Augmented Reality (AR), App Development and Animation. Additionally, teams will be paired with experts who will mentor and support them throughout the entire process.
Key speakers this year will be Tobago-born Black Panther Animator Sekani Solomon, former Miss Universe, Wendy Fitzwilliam, and Ris Anne Martin, fashion designer from Brown Cotton Caribbean.
This will be a digital event like no other. Packed with cool speakers, tech demonstration booths, the hackathon and lots of prizes to be won. The first 15 teams to register will receive registration tokens.
