Jason Huggins, Flair Owner and Chef, and Kyle Maloney, F1RST.com Co-founder and Director, discuss T&T Restaurant Week. Located in Woodbrook at the corner of Taylor Street and Ariapita Avenue, Flair is participating in the 10-day event and will utilise F1RST.com as a tool for promoting the restaurant.

F1RST.com, a technology company that provides over 90,000 users with beyond-directory data on businesses throughout the region, is partnering with T&T Restaurant Week to inspire an appreciation among locals for the rich culinary diversity available in T&T.

Now in its second year, T&T Restaurant Week – which began on September 19 –  will take place for 10 days at various restaurants located in Trinidad and Tobago. Select restaurants are offering fixed menus at a reduced price as much as or up to 30 percent to attract customers who may want to experience a greater range of dining options.

In today’s ever-changing digital landscape where reviews can boost a business, F1RST.com is a platform for the Restaurant Week organisers to promote and grow the event.

During Restaurant Week, diners will be encouraged by participating restaurants to check-in via F1RST.com or on the mobile application available for IOS and Android devices. Customers will also be asked to write reviews and rate their overall experience while at the restaurant.

“We hope to help bring Restaurant Week online in a huge way,” said Kyle Maloney, co-founder and director, F1RST.com. “Every restaurateur knows the importance of a good customer experience which leads to a positive review.”

“What F1RST provides is the platform for word-of-mouse reviews and ratings, which is critical for a business as it translates to increased search engine optimisation as well as more online and offline activity.”

Restaurants vary in price. For more information and the list of participating restaurants visit the Trinidad & Tobago Restaurant Week Facebook page or the F1RST.com Facebook page. The F1RST app is available for download for  iOS  and Android.
