As a tool, the ZFold is two premium smartphones worth of battery, processors and circuitry joined by an admirably firm hinge with a 158.2 x 128.1 mm AMOLED screen stretched over it.
The phones are available only in Puerto Rico and in Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean region for now, as Samsung, along with the wider world of manufacturing, grapples with global chip shortages.
The magic on the ZFlip kicks in when you start to fold it in half. On apps that have been optimized for its folding action, the software splits when you fold to 90 degrees.
