The current Universal Service Fund (USF) stands at $148,344,602 according to TATT’s 2021 annual report.
Mr Prescod will now lead the Telecommunication Authority’s Technology and Engineering Division.
In response to questions requesting documents detailing the Minister’s authorisation and the open tendering procedure, TATT responded that “The documents do not exist.”
The new TATT directors are Mr. Nikolaiski Ali, Mrs. Kalana Prince-Wilson, Mr. Devon Seale, Mr. Rhondall Feeles and Mr. Nigel Cassimire.

It is to be noted that the Court made no mandatory order against TSTT. The Court granted none of the relief sought by CCTL.
In delivering his judgement Justice Seepersad noted that the Court is satisfied that TATT acted within its statutory mandate and displayed procedural fairness.
The initiative will provide low-cost wired broadband solutions, low cost-wireless solutions such as Mi-Fi devices and data-SIMs and low-cost tablet solutions.
