Like you, we’ve been closely monitoring COVID-19 since its early stage. We acknowledge that our businesses are in uncharted territory, but WiPay was built to handle moments like this and our relentless commitment to your success is stronger than ever.
As a result, we’ve taken swift measures to ensure that we maintain the same levels of platform accessibility and uninterrupted service to the thousands of businesses utilizing our services. I am happy to announce three new initiatives designed to support businesses and professionals during this crisis.
The first is for those businesses that have been directly impacted by the recently implemented NOVEL CORONAVIRUS REGULATIONS, 2020. We are offering our wireless point of sale payment terminals for curb side pickups and delivery services, AT NO COST, for credit card and LINX payments. The second initiative is for those professionals, like doctors and lawyers, who wish to offer their services online or over the phone. WiPay “At Your Service” is an instant approval service that allows any professional to send a payment link directly to a client via social media platforms like WhatsApp and Facebook or via email. The client simply clicks on the link to pay instantly. WiPay has also launched a consolidated page that allows clients to make payments to listed professionals by selecting and clicking on the professional’s name.
The third initiative is the WiPay “Concierge Service”. This service is designed for our most vulnerable persons, such as the elderly. It is a white glove service for the collection of items from any supermarket, pharmacy or restaurant offering curb side pickup. A Concierge will deliver the items safely to your doorstep, using a multi-bagging system to ensure that there is no physical contact with your items and of course observing all social distancing protocols.
