Avaya appoints Isabel Valer to oversee Central America, Caribbean

Avaya appointed Isabel Valer as the new Avaya Director for the Multi-Country region, made up of Central America and the Caribbean, Ecuador, Peru and Paraguay. In this position, Valer is expected to be primarily focused on consolidating sales and operations, strengthening alliances with business partners and clients, as well as designing and directing the sales strategy in the countries comprising the region.

Valer’s vast experience, deep knowledge of the variety of countries in the region, the work carried out during the last seven years as Channel and Distributor director and the close relationships developed with both custommers and partners, make her an ideal executive to occupy this leadership position not just for Avaya but for the company’s network.

Prior to this appointment, Valer was Sales Director and Director of Channel and Distribution for the same region.

With more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry, Valer has established herself as a Specialist in the legal area of ​​operations, training for channels, the introduction of new products and indirect sales through Channels and Distribution.

Isabel Valer was born in Lima, Peru, and is a graduate of the University of Lima´s Law School.
