ION Conference on February 05

ION Trinidad and Tobago will be co-located with the Caribbean Telecommunications Union’s 25th Anniversary and ICT Week in Port of Spain from February 2-6. The theme is “Celebrating our past; Committing to our future,” and the ION Conference will be on Thursday, 5 February, from 1:30PM to 5:30PM.

ION Conferences, hosted by the Internet Society Deploy360 Programme, bring network engineers and leading industry experts together to discuss emerging technologies including IPv6, DNSSEC, TLS, and more. Early adopters provide valuable insight into their own deployment experiences and bring participants up to speed on new standards emerging from the IETF.

On Thursday, 5 February, from 8:30AM to 12:30AM, and led by ISOC’s Shernon Osepa, the CTU is holding a parallel Working Group session on “Establishing National and Regional Internet Governance Fora.

There is a registration fee to attend the ICT Week and ION Conference. For Internet Society Trinidad and Tobago Chapter members, we have secured a reduced rate of of US$75/day and US$300 for the entire week, and for groups of 4 or more, registering together, US$60/day per person and US$250 for the entire week, per person.
