Sheldon Powell, who introduced the Billionaires Club app at the Hyatt in July, has been arrested for larceny. The coverage by TechNewsTT of that event raised questions that were never adequately answered by Powell.

According to a Trinidad Express story

“The charges stem from allegations that he fraudulently converted $160,000 entrusted to him in November 2015.The money was given to him in order to invest in a UK Investment company namely Shard Capital Partners LLP on the investor’s behalf.”

Bail has been set for the 32 year old at TT$300,000.
