UWI student Jason Rameshwar has asked for our assistance in reaching technologists working in the AR, VR and MR fields to gather information for his research.
Do you develop Augmented Reality (AR) or Virtual Reality (VR) or Mixed Reality (MR) elements (eg. objects, scenes, animations, or other assets)?
I am a postgraduate engineering student at The University of the West Indies doing research on emerging (new) technologies.
Your answers will identify the requirements for encouraging XR development in the Caribbean to improve our innovation, competitiveness and sustainability. Responses are welcome from anyone, over the age of 18yrs (consenting adults), who has experience in any of the Caribbean countries.
The 23 questions about XR development should take about 23 mins to answer based on my timing.
My aim is to get a large number of responses and to start analysing the information at the end of December 2021 so this form will be open from Monday 4th October 2021. Please share this questionnaire with your friends and family so their contributions can make a difference.
