The OWASP Logo

The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) is a worldwide not-for-profit charitable organization focused on improving the security of software. OWASP’s mission is to make software security visible, so that individuals and organizations worldwide can make informed decisions about true software security risks.

Everyone is free to participate in OWASP and all materials are available under a free and open software license. You’ll find everything about OWASP here or linked from the wiki and current information at http://owasp.blogspot.com/. To learn more view this overview slideshow.

With the formation of the OWASP Trinidad & Tobago Chapter there are now four OWASP chapters in the Caribbean. The current local chapter’s board composition is as follows:

  • Chapter Leaders – Prof. Patrick Hosein, Laura Bigram
  • Industry Coordinator – Shiva Bissessar
  • Projects Coordinator – Samuel Thompson
