Reimagining enterprise for growth

1 Mins read

On Thursday 23rd April, regional Microsoft thought leaders will give local chief information officers (CIOs) a detailed look at how they can reimagine their enterprise in a digital age.

For the first time in Trinidad and Tobago, Microsoft will host Transform, Lead, Grow 2015 at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business. The forum will focus on how businesses can harness technology to deliver fluid customer experiences, optimize networking, improve decision-making, increase responsiveness and reduce cost, all while ensuring the company’s sensitive data is safe and protected.

“The digital age is changing how we do business. Many companies are looking for the smoothest path to reimagining their business models, processes and teams. While many understand that there are technological forces enabling change, they may not know how to harness these forces to implement a solution that will fit their company’s size, industry, geography or maturity level,” said Frances Correia, country manager, Microsoft Trinidad and Tobago, Eastern and Southern Caribbean.

“Microsoft is the productivity and platform company for the mobile-first and cloud-first world. With $15 billion invested to build our massive cloud infrastructure, and our products and services deeply informed by our first-hand experience running enormous datacentres and some of the largest globally-scaled services, we operate with a challenger mindset.  We’ve helped organisations across the globe transform digitally, leading to growth, and we hope to do the same in Trinidad and Tobago.” Correia added.

Microsoft’s hosts are…

Ineke Geesnik (in photo), is the Windows Business Group Lead for Latin America New Markets, which includes Central America, the Caribbean, Bolivia, Ecuador and Paraguay. Geesnik leads the sales and marketing efforts of the Windows business for this region, as well as manages the market share for the division and for Internet Explorer, among other responsibilities. Recently, she was charged with leading the launch of Windows 8, one of the most important releases for Microsoft and its consumers in recent years.

Eduardo Nunez Parodi, is the Cloud and Enterprise Lead for the Latin America New Markets subsidiary, which includes Central America, the Caribbean (excluding Puerto Rico), Bolivia, Ecuador and Paraguay. Nunez manages the business for the server platform and enterprise cloud offerings.  His main objective is to help Microsoft’s customers establish agile technology platforms, which will help them develop competitive advantages and reduce operating costs.

Isn’t this the same thing they had for the M4 roadshow last year at the Hyatt. The agenda looks the same.
