Scores of Digicel customers witnessed Digicel’s newest market offering titled “Get More For Carnival With Digicel ”on January 21.

Launched at the company’s Head Office Experience Store on Maraval Road, customers were the first to hear Digicel’s Carnival jingle sung by soca sensation Patrice Roberts. The catchy, high-energy jingle encapsulates the spirit of Carnival, and highlights various elements of Digicel’s happenings for Carnival 2019.

Five customers walked away with Samsung S8 smartphones which they won in competitions held on Digicel’s social media pages, in the previous weeks. Complimentary doubles, corn soup, drinks and music from a live DJ made up part of the evening’s activities.

Over the Carnival season, Digicel will be giving away fete tickets, free handsets, Carnival costumes and weekly prizes. One lucky Digicel customer will win big in the Ultimate Carnival Experience – which will include a new Nissan Frontier, two all-inclusive Carnival Costumes, tickets to the  hottest events on the weekend leading up to Carnival and a cool-down trip for two in Tobago.

The grand draw to pick the lucky winner takes place online, live on February 28th.

The company is also providing free WiFi at selected Carnival fetes.

“People love sharing their carnival experiences online and Digicel is happy to keep them connected while they fete. From posting selfies with friends to going live while you pump, Digicel has your back with the fastest broadband and LTE in the country,” said Penny Gomez, Digicel’s PR Director.

Through partnerships with over 25 fetes this season, Digicel is giving their customers more with numerous opportunities each week to win fete tickets via social media and by calling 777 from their mobile phones.

“From Sekon Sunday straight down to Soaka on Carnival Sunday, each week our customers have the chance to fete on us. We really must thank our event partners for allowing us to bring wifi to their events and for granting access to our valued customer,” Gomez said.

“This coming Friday, we’ll be at Out in South and once again, patrons can enjoy posting, tweeting and sharing their experiences using our free Internet.”
